Stones1985 has set the target to beat at a very good 636. It does not look enough to win due to the stellar performance of tyronec who has 6 straight decisive victories so good that should klayeckles match those 6 victories there will still be a points gap between them.

It was a great battle. I was able to prevail by winning the cavalry and chariot battle on my left wing by bringing superior numbers to bear, and then using the heavy chariots to good effect in the centre against medium foot.

Aetius39 (Philistines) defeats Karvon (Babylonians) 45-15

The more numerous Babylonian cavalry couldn't flank or hurt the Philistines enough, so slowly but surely their army was broken up. GG!

Rather than advance on an unfavorable position, the romans chose to set up a strong defensive position guarded by a swarm of velites. Pyrrhus put a strong cavalry force forward, threatening the roman rear while skirmishers backed by samnites approached the velites and began pelting the light troops. when the velites responded, the main line of greek troops stepped forward to engage and defeat the velites.

Eventually the roman main line began feeling the effects of no skirmish line to protect them, and they stepped forward to engage Pyrrhus's main line of phalynx. Unfortunately for the romans, their pilums were shrugged off and the phalynx held. as a few of the roman cohorts failed the samnite allies to Pyrrhus found the gaps and their ensuing flank charges ended things quickly, just before night fall

Reliance on a Large Elephant force backed up by Heavy Gilmans spread across the map was the undoing of my enemy. With much better cheaper troops the Jihadi swarm was able to isolate and deal with pockets of resistance to bring the one true light to the East.

rexhurley (Andalusians) defeats Heidipie (Irish with Viking Allies) 60/47

A series of misstarts by us both we finally got underway. First map a plain was rerolled at the request of the mad Irishman, a second clutter broken map was rerolled at my risk calling upon the favour of Allah my wishes were granted although some broken ground led to some infantry choices which while doing okay caused me to bleed VP's still the Jihadi swarm delivered the death of the thousand cuts and the misty isles have been converted to the one true god.

rexhurley (Andalusians) defeats rockmanbob (Vikings with French Allies) 61/55

Stuck invading a mountain pass after a reroll the Jihadi swarm pushed forward goading the pointy to the attack down the past, between good fortune, an underestimation of the effectiveness of the various types of black guard spear and stinging attacks from the swarm led to the eventual downfall of the Vikings. A turn or two more it may have easily gone the other way.

With regards Keksoid no, no contact and I have a couple of map reroll games that havent started on the reroll. I shall attempt to get hold of a couple of players to resolve.

heidipie catalan beat graftmalt imperial germans 76 to 52

score not represent a very close fight, catalans only got victory at the very end when the Imperial kiels were worn down and the Imperial knights had all left the field either by rout or pursuit
battle was fought around a patch of broken ground, with a stream on one side and the kiels sent one unit of catalns after another routing off
but the imperial knights not doing so well and were swarmed, so eventually all at once several kiels broke and Imperial losses spiked
