Have PSP version unable to transport sports
Hello,
I have recently purchased a PSP version of the Commander - Europe at War, I am unable to move any troops on to the ships, playing as allies or axis. I have tried placed troops (none garrison) on the port square, with a ship in the harbour, but next move I try to move the troop on to the boat but it will not allow me to. Any suggestions on how I can make it work?
Thank you
Drkneed

You don't need a warship to transport troops. There's a load button that you need to click that will "load" a troop that begins it's turn adjacent to a port onto a transport. You may then move this transport.drkneed wrote:Hello,

My son has the DS version and it's there in that version. It definitely has a different look than what I'm use to on the PC. I'd venture to say it's there in the PSP version too.drkneed wrote:On my PSP version there is no anchor symbol. There seems to be no option to move troops on to ships, this leaves me unable to really win the game for either side. Any other suggestions please?

Actually you can ship Garrisons by sea on the PSP
I can freely board them and ship them across the med or the north sea or the black sea or wherever. Maybe I misunderstood, but garrisons are the weak units with attack 2 and defense 3 that cost 35 PP right? I'm transporting those fellas by ship at will... If that wasn't intended you have a bug in the PSP version.

Those are garrisons in that version, which should be the same as the "fast play" version of the PC game. I verified that you CANNOT transport garrisons in the PC fast play version.fcolmenarez wrote:I can freely board them and ship them across the med or the north sea or the black sea or wherever. Iain, as I understand his post I think fcolmenarez is saying that in the PSP version that he can transport garrisons. Since I don't own that verison I wasn't able to check this. However; with the PC fast play version, which I understand to be the same as the PSP version, I did indeed verify that garrisons cannot be transported.iainmcneil wrote:Yes by design garrisons cannot be transported by sea. This was to prevent exploits such as France removing all the garrisons from its overseas territories and sending them home on turn 1.
