Switching Capitals
Is it possible to change your capital to another city you own? Thank you.
Re: Switching Capitals
yes, there is an RGD that comes up (rarely) that enables this
Re: Switching Capitals
Also a 2nd capital is available when you become an empire/caliphate.
Provincial capitals can be destroyed and the "best" region for the provincial capital will be selected, but you can't chose.

Re: Switching Capitals
I will add that you can't choose directly, but you can manipulate where to move a provincial capital. You dismantle the existing capital and then ensure the region you want has the highest stewardship production. I don't know if there are any other factors involved off the top of my head.
Re: Switching Capitals
I'll try the stewardship thing next time I want to move.

Yes, similar to how highest current Culture output region in Empires. No other factors not related to opponent besieging or diplomacy exchange going through matter. The idea is to put Provincial capitals offensively since fresh units spawn thee plus it gonna prevent enemy stacks diving deep into your territory. They prefer blocking your regional capital for obvious reasons.
