We're releasing a new update for Battlesector. As per usual, please let us know what you think of the list of changes. Your feedback is essential to keep improving the game.

Changes since 1.4.81

General

Tournaments:
  • Disabled Might and Fury bonus points. Match winners receive the scenario target score, which is the same as the score that users who received a bye get.
  • This will likely lead to a tie at the top of the leaderboard and we’ll use our new Knock Out style tournaments to determine the overall winner
  • Known issue: If you are losing the match on points and destroy your opponent’s army, you won’t be given the victory. This will be fixed in due course but for now it is the same for everyone, so ensure you play the game mode objectives!
Balance

Sisters of Battle:
  • Exorcist
    • Removed Overwatch ability
      • Added Artillery capacity. Does not need a direct line of sight to attack

Tyranids:
  • Biovore
    • Reduced Seed Spore Mine cooldown to 1 turn (2)
    • Reduced Seed Spore Mine range to 7 (8)
    • Increased Seed Spore Mine Charge time to 1 turn (0)
  • Biovore Spore Mine
    • Added an initial 1 MP to the spawned Spore Mines (no AP though)
    • Removed ability to interact with mission objectives (zones and controls)
    • Can now use their AP to buy extra moves (including on charges)
  • Pyrovore
    • Cost to 110 (115)
    • Burning Spray cooldown to 1 turn (2)
    • Burning Spray armour reduction to -2 (-1) and -3 (-2) [Normal and Empowered]
Necrons:
  • Royal Warden
    • Cost to 160 (150)
    • Momentum on Death to 25 (15)
    • Adaptive Strategy Duration reduced to 1 turn (2)
    • Engrammatic Logic momentum boost reduced to 10 (15) and 25 (35) [Normal and Empowered]
  • Canoptek Scarabs
    • Reenabled Momentum and CPP when models die
  • Plasmancer
    • Quantum Orb now has a cooldown of 3 turns (to match other skills)
  • Overlord
    • Increased Command Protocol charge time to 1 turn (0)
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issue where some units had the wrong textures on a Planetary Supremacy map
  • Fixed AI issue where units were throwing Frag Grenades at the floor
  • Fixed issue where Skorpekh destroyers that were destroyed when using Plasmacyte Infusion were not being properly killed if they had a bonus HP buff
  • Tweaked Land Speeder AI to encourage it to use it’s Assault Cannon
  • Updated New Skulls 2024 units to cost Requisition Points in game modes
  • Fixed issue where Biovore Spore Mine was attacking multiple times when self-destructing

Love this game is constantly being improved. I'd like to address a couple problems. Firstly as a PS5 user I find it near impossible to play Battlesector right now as it constantly crashes during or when I end any match in skirmish or playing Supremecy. Second problem is a few territories in Planetary Supremecy my army and camera is stuck under the terrain where I can only see the sky box, this for some reason happens without fail.

Hey wanted to chime in as well, really love the game just wanting to know if there is a roadmap for fixing the stability on Planetary Supremacy on PS5. Very excited for the Astra Militarum keep up the good work.

It's been a while since I've registered at a forum, so this might show you how much I want this game to work.

I absolutely love the PS4 version, I'v purchased almost all of the DLC's and I'm excited for more of them, but as of now the Planetary Supremacy mode (which is where I wan't to play with my DLC factions) is unplayable. If you play with a scarce map and a less then 2k army, you might be able to finish the PS round, but if you scale up beyond 2k the game just starts to crash constantly. Sororitas and Tyranids are especially unplayable both as factions and enemies and the map generator is broken as fuck, since it generates some heavy obstacle maps, that just keep crashing on every turn.

I really wan't to see a some more content for Battlesector and I'm willing to pay for it too, but with the current crashes I could finish a score-heavy PS mode just with Chaos Demons and I nearly ragequit mid-campaign with the Tyranids.

Hello. I'm on PS5 and the game cannot get through one match of planetary supremacy without crashing. I've submitted dozens of error reports through the PSN over the last few months and thr game is still unplayable.
