Historically accurate lol. They headed out between the battle lines and were probably running up on their chariot poles, doing the edge-feat and the chariot-feat and the thunder-feat and various acrobatics, then they just needed to pull back, swap out a few horses and get some more javelins and they were good to go. Read Caesar and the Tain...

My elephants and camels did a great job of nullifying the potentially deadly Palmyran cataphracts. The rest of the Cats got distracted chasing my cheap cavalry around and were unable to contribute much to the battle. Meanwhile my numerous medium impact foot held the edge on my opponent's infantry throughout the match and were quickly able to bully their way into hacking through the Palmyran massed archers (whose rough terrain offered them no protection).

Assisted by decent rally rolls at the right times, goat pens and enclosures securing both flanks Najanja took me to the top of the last turn before the nut was cracked with 3 pike blocks and cav still in the field it was a close one.
