Chris Townsend's Egyptians 945 defeat SawyerK's Babylonians w Neo Hittite 890 by 61 to 42.

On a very difficult and hilly battlefield, this was mostly an infantry battle. SawyerK's well organized flank attack was narrowly held by the timely arrival of Chris Townsend's reserves, giving time for an improvised flank attack by Chris Townsend's Libyans to clog up the pass and help hold the heavy chariots at the stream. The resulting general melee gradually turned in the Egyptians' favour.

With one Ghurid elephant stabbed to death and another shot to death the Portuguese knights were able to stop hiding in the bushes and deal out some death and destruction. Lots of cheap troops died valiantly to clinch the victory. Another turn and the scores would have been much closer as Eric had troops through my lines and in behind me. Just not fast enough to save the day.

In a race against time, the more capable Sherden swordsmen grind their way through the Assyrian infantry as their right flank buckles and gives way to the charges of chariot and horse. A bloodbath, but the numerical superiority of the infantry tells at the end.

Infantry Army broke through the left while my own cav got shredded - my troops were able to then crush the center before his cav was able to do too much damage (as it was following my broken units for quite a while) - good game, thanks
