650 point FoG tournament(s) at Game 09 - Manchester - UK
There will be two linked 650 point FoG tournaments at Game 09 on the 17th and 18th of October.
Games will be played on a 5 by 3 table, all the standard rules will be used except that the maximum number of terrain pieces is reduced by 1 and compulsary terrain must be placed (no picking maximum sized pieces and hoping they end up unable to fit).
There will be three competitions in total
Each day will have three 2 1/2 hour games with the best perfoming player winning that days tournament in addition there will be an overall prize for the best combined performance over two days.
If at all possible I will prevent players who attend on both days from playing the same opponent twice over the course of the weekend.
Bookings and othe handy info at http://www.gamecon.co.uk

So far it seems we have 12 entries for Saturday and 9 for Sunday.
I could have sworn that other people had made interested noises, anyway here are the entries according to the Game 09 computermabob.
Saturday:
Dave Ruddock, Matthew Poole, David Allen, BUNNY LEWIS, Robert Taylor, Kevin Johnson, Gordon Jamieson, David Redhead, Stephen Clarke and
Neil Howard + 2 others
Sunday
Paul Longmore, BUNNY LEWIS, Robert Taylor, David Redhead, Matthew Poole, Stephen Clarke, Peter Card, Kevin Johnson, Gordon Jamieson
I think that Bunny Lewis is actually Gareth Lewis's entry in another name.
I have an army list from Adrian Stubbs but I think he may be one of Neil Howards entries.
If you think you have entered or are thinkimg of entering and are not on this list can you let me know.

I have most of the lists in now and will be doing the checking today. There is a decent chance of a R&R list early next week but as I am in the middle of assembling over 2000 boardgames which must be on palletes by next Friday that will take priority.Robert241167 wrote:Hi Hammy
Any idea when we will have a full list of runners and riders?
Will we pair off with opponents before the big day like we did at Expo 09?

Hi Hammy
I've received an e-mail this afternoon regarding the weekend.
Am I to understand that if I booked through the internet and am arriving on the Saturday that I collect my tickets from the Premier Inn on Portland Street after 8.30am and then continue on to the Palace Hotel main reception area for the tournament ticket?
If this is the case can I assume they are relatively close together?
Cheers

I got the same email and read it that the Preregistration booth for non Premier Inn residents will be in the Palace Hotel from 8:30!
Could someone with local knowledge give me a better location of the Charles Street Car park than just the postcode? Which of the various junctions it's near would be perfect.
Thanks,
Kevin

If I have got any clubs wrong or there is no club listed for you can you let me know what it should be?
As there are currently 11 players on each day it looks like I will be playing to even up the numbers. I was thinking of using either Classical Indian or Mittanii. Anyone have any preferences for what I take?
