Stew101's Persians defeat Angusosborne's Byzantines
Result 60 - 33 %.

The game started with both armies pivoting around to line up a flank facing each other across the map, the Persian right and the Bizzie left.
The Bizzies had a nice archer platform in their centre, but the Persians kept their left and centre away from this hill, whilst matching losses in front and around it.
The smaller force of Persian foot and elephants, after a bad start loosing one of its two veteran Dailami units, did a good job distracting the Byzantine left & centre and also got to grips with the foot bows.
Eventually the stronger Persian right got the better of its opponents and the more numerous Persian cavalry swept over the hill and ensured a hard fought victory,
