how can a plane be repair,when not at airport?

You have to consider that each turn is 20 days......do you think the planes are in the air for that full time?

Where the "plane" is on the map is considered their base....its assumed that an airbase is created as the air units also include ground staff etc...thats why they have an attack range..the max range of their aircraft before having to turn around for refueling

At least thats how I see it
