SCORING.
This is different to the TDC and Swiss tournaments.

Loser: takes his points. Never more than 60.
Winner: takes 120 minus the loser's points. Never less than 60.
If a player resigns then they get their score at that point.
If a player defaults then it is scored 90:0

Karvon - Dothrankyi defeated Armchairbaron - Slaver City of New Ghis 41-5.

After a bit of strategic maneuvering, battle was joined along the banks of a stream running into the sea amidst a number of plantations overlooked by a large plateau, on the far side of the stream, naturally. The various fields, strewn on both our flanks and in the far corners, considerably cut down on our ability to shift around, cutting back on one of our primary advantages.

We massed our light horse on our far left with four roughly equal divisions of horse archers supported by a lone lancer, lined across the field. Our plan was to initially press along the entire front and then shift left behind our light horse flanking force.

The Slavers deployed a loose line of their Iron Legion troops anchored on the sea on their left, screened by light archers and supported on the flanks and rear by some assorted medium foot. A division of cavalry formed up to cover their right flank.

As planned, we advanced all along the front, driving back his skirmishers with charges and initially holding our fire. Our light horse made fairly quick progress on our left due to their speed and our two left divisions shifted to follow in their wake across the stream.

The Slavers dispatched their cavalry division in an attempt to contain our flanking move, while pushing forward with his heavy foot screen cautiously. Our light horse enveloped his cavalry, harrasing it with fire from the flanks and rear, while our following heavier horse moved up to confront them directly. He unleashed his horse in an attempt to run us down, but we merely evaded and proceeded to shred his horse from all side with our light and heavy horse archers.

He moved up some of his mediums in an attempt to support his surviving horse, but these were likewise flanked and shot up, then run down.

On our right, after having been driven back by his foot line, we wheeled and rode left to further exploit the ongoing breakthrough on our left, leaving a lone lancer rearguard to slow down his plodding foot. He pressed after us, but the lancer did its job, valiantly holding up though outnumbered and driven back.

The arrival of fresh horse from our right aided in flanking and seeing off enough of his left and center supporting units, leading to the rout of his army.

Karvon - Slaver City of Mereen defeated anderarcos11 - Free Folk 63 - 57.

We anchored our right on a steep hill in the center defended by bow and warslaves, with a single pit fighter to hold the key corner. Our heavy foot and cavalry advanced and turned the enemy right flank, but it was very slow-going. The hill was showered with missile fire from various bows and javelins, and slowly worn down before being assaulted by the Free Folk raiders. Most of the defenders fell, but enough hung on, until our victorious and worn out heavy foot and cavalry descended on the enemy rear and broke their army.

Div B

Karvon - Free Folk defeated anderarcos11 - Slaver City of Mereen 62- 33.

The Slavers took up a position along a gentle slope in their center. There were a couple of large rough patches and some scattered woods along the right end. We used those as channels of attack and defensive anchors for our medium foot and bows, as our small heavy foot division, supported by our giants and an elephant, helped turn the enemy right flank in an echelon assault.

Rafydedel (Golden Company) defeats Ray552 (slaver city of Astapor) 44-17

Astapor came with a very strong pack of 10 (!) elite unsullied spearmen and a few cavalry and light troops. The Golden company managed to win the wings with their bowmen, light troops and men at arms and hold the line long enough on a small slope in the center until enough unsullied could be flanked.

Karvon's Slavers City of New Ghis defeated Armchairbaron's Dothraki 59-31.

Behind a loose line of the Iron Legion, the Slavers steadily advanced across a central stream, relying on two large field complexes on both flanks on the far side to reduce Dothraki encirclement attempts. Our archers and horse helped grind down or drive off repeated efforts to flank, and we eventually trapped, or drove off the field, most of the Dothraki army, though we took some heavy losses in the process.

Rafydedel slaver city of astapor defeats ray552 golden company 74-43

Astapor Unsullied spearmen met golden company spearmen on a narrow front while the astapor cavalry, light and and raw troops were to assault their opponent right wing of a few men at arms.

The assault on the wing went well, but unsullied spearmen being outnumbered in the center, they collapsed just before the critical 25 points difference.

At this point astapor was seriously outnumbering the golden company, but with weak troops. Had to do a bit of manoeuvzring and dancing to avoid melee and reposition cavalry around the last square of golden company infantries until they could be engaged and flanked. Some luck in the final round explain the large score difference in this tough battle.
