Assyrian and Chaldaean foot in EAP

Post by Polkovnik »

I've just received some figures from a lot on ebay, which I think would be the Assyrian and Chaldaean foot in the Early Achaemenid Persian army. They are minifigs I think and look like the "Assyrian Spearmen" on page 10 of WRG "Armies of the Greek and Persian Wars". However, this book has no mention of archers in these units, whilst in the FOG EAP list they are half HF Light Spear, Swordsmen, half MF bow.
What would the rear rank bow figures look like ? Should I just use any EAP archer figures ?

I would think it wold be more appropriate to use archer figures from a Neo-Assyrian or Neo-Babylonian range respectively.
