I would still propose a small intro scenario about the Spanish Civil War prior to Poland

Civil wars are quite difficult to simulate in PanzerCorps.
3 years, with low intensity war.

Perhaps experiment with unit strength <10 (5,7).
Or take a separate part of the civil war.

Good choice! Can the Axis turn the tide and recapture lost territories - or even make a visit finally in Moscow?

Well after a first look in the saved game file,its turn 73, June 1944.
Moscow looks like mission impossible, no time to reach
In the south front things are more promising on pushing back the red army.
But Normandy, with so much allied air force, no idea how to handle them at first glance.
I think a draw it is doable.

Sure, sure, many times. Maybe you know my single player play style, which is with tons of reloads (+ dice chess - this can be implemented even in the saves with the "dice chess" cheat), so probably it is much easier. I played also a few times with manual double Rommel (always calculated the 50% prestige loss/gain and with cheat I corrected it) - but that is really-really frustrating. On the other hand, playing with 100% prestige it can gives the player some chance to get smaller victories. But the overwhelming Allied air power is surely a cause of lot of swearing. The Western Allies cannot be stopped, nor fully destroyed, but contained. This is important to use the V1's, V2's to gain the really needed extra prestige. OK, the Dragoon/Anvil forces can be eliminated and if you focus fully on Italy than probably you can win back also South Italy - but than you will suffer in the East... So, nice variety here.
On the east, my experience is if we can really fast send reinforcements to Army Group Middle and hold the ground than we can stop the Soviets. It is a hard time in winter without the rivers but after that it is possible to move again to the eastern direction. The other extreme important point is to not let the Soviets near to Romania. Look for the editor. If there are more than two armor units west of a given river, Romania turns side, you loose your last oil source and anyway you will be in big trouble... You can play it so, that you station a lot of units in Romania, let the enemy make his move and initiate the side switching process - than you capture everything back in the next turn, you gain extra prestige with the recaptured Romanian cities plus you get a lot of Hungarian units. But my experience was that those German units were needed more elsewhere.

I could reach Moscow and also very far south. So I could make a decent peace, giving back the Soviet capital, but holding other territories.

Hmm, it do not add it. I made thr first two steps, but I do not have the Place inline option, just the Delete file option.
Picture is 3,7 MB, it looks like, it is registered, but after i click Submit, it will be not attached.

- The Stalingrad save is also fun: it is theoretically also possible to make a DV - although with very high time pressure. For a MV it is quite relaxed. Also we can partly rescue the forces at Stalingrad.
- The Kursk save is more in the direction of frustration as Normandy save as the Allied airforce is gaining momentum. But a MV victory is still possible.

Hey Guys,
been off for a long time. Thinking of getting back into it.
I have three questions - can the mod be installed if my game now runs on Steam?
Secondly - is there anybody who is interested in an email match-up and is NOT an expert at this? I mean no Uhu level or similar (which would kick my ass too fast). (assuming that I can bring my email save files into my Steam folders)
Third - I know Uhu made the thread with tipps, which show which units arrive on the map on what turn. But is there any list that shows what happens in certain conditions, for example take egypt and no british army materializes in middle east anymore, take UK an no more americans, etc... (this is only meaningful if i can run the mod on steam of course).

Yes, you should be able to install for with Steam as well.

I don't know if such a list exists, but probably not. And it is not that simple in most cases. For example, as I remember, the more objective cities the Axis side captures in North African theatre (including Malta) the less British units would appear in late 1942 in the Suez canal area. But then again, if the Axis captures all of these, some of the British units which would have appeared in the Suez canal area, would now appear in the Persian Gulf area instead. So it is a bit more complicated and depends on the situation.

If the Axis captures at least one objective city in Britain then there would be no Allied D-day invasion as long as at least one objective city is held by the Axis in Britain.

Sadly no. I researched it by using the editor and looking for units on the map and looking what conditions and when they appear in the game. Looking for also for zones or towns.

(...and thank you for your humble words. But there are better players in multiplayer as me. )

Not exactly what you are asking for but it can give a good orientation of what is needed by when... the rest is basically history...

Hi,

Are there any means to check the ingame messages if they have been read already or is there any library to review them ? for example that you can convert bombers to fighters at the airport next to Vienna.

sometimes there are a good amount of days going in between sessions and i forget

Some people take notes as well or plan out next moves on paper (i.e. by when with whom to be where)
