Did the Frontlines Bulge video reveal a special prototype boss unit?

Post by monkspider »

So, I noticed a very interesting little detail in the Frontlines Bulge livestream, check out the special double-barreled Panther in the attached image. I know we won't be playing as the Germans this time, so I wonder if this is a special boss type unit we will be facing during the siege of Bastogne.

YES!!!... In "Fantasy-Land"... this would be a "Great-Tank!". However!... "In the Real-World"... there would not be enough room in the turret to accommodate these two huge cannons. In "Fantasy-Land"... maybe this Tank could also as well... blow "Great-Balls-Of-Fire" out of its rear-end?.

The GVT 04 tank
Tank destroyer, Medium tank

This Tank Destroyer has a Fixed-Turret which is at least 2-1/2 times as large as the previous "Fantasy Tank Turret"... and therefore in this case it could accommodate these 2-cannons... although it is only a fixed turret and not a rotating turret... which makes a big difference.

It you notice that the 2nd barrel is attached to the side of the turret, one concludes that is an AI drawing.
A variant of a man with 3 arms or 6 fingers.
If it were a real tank it would have a third gun on the facing side!
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

There's likely a second tank sat right behind it. If you look closely, the 2 is actually on the second turret, not the front vehicle.
