A bit of a slug fest where the Egyptians overextended themselves on the right flank and were cut down by a defence in death, but won in the centre and right. The Egyptians' bow armed chariotry ultimately proved superior to the spear armed Trojans, but in typical light cavalry fashion more than half the force disappeared in a pursuit that made it touch and go in the centre. Had the Trojans not tipped over the magical 60% when they did it could have gone the other way. Thanks for the game. (Thanks to Peek 101 for pointing out I posted this in the wrong forum initially.)

As usual the swiss are almost unstoppable tanks and only a very luky followup charge by one of my knight was able to catch one in the back.

In a a battle of two hills the Trojans had to gamble in a frontal assault across two rough-hewn bosom-like hills, and hold the superior enemy cavalry on their left flank long enough.... for the surprise central chariot assault which quickly bypassed the Median infantry slamming fury into the light tropps and making the infantry on the heights hesitate long enough for the narrowest of margins. Well played!

Many of the legions and cataphracts got caught in the space between 2 sets of poor terrain, not helped by a hapless opening charge form the catas into the gothic lancers that saw only defeats and even disruptions. The warbands gleefully swarmed the auxila, irregulars and archers to predictable slaughter. Thanks for the game
