The key factor was the delaying action of Numidian light cavalry, that managed to hold for enough time 3 units of heavy cavalry that could have been decisive in the infantry battle in the centre. This while Pontic heavy cavalry managed to defeat Carthaginian cavalry on my right flank, while my cavalry, supported by light cavalry, defeated pontic heavy and light cavalry on the other side.
In the battle for the centre, Carhaginian army had numerical advantage, even if they had to face 4 phalanx units that inflicted damages. Elephants (later routed) helped to create decisive gaps.

A though battle, well played by my opponent! Pontic army seems very good, with a good mix of units and a strong heavy cavalry (Iranian armoured cavalry)
