Unable to update FoGII Medieval

I keep getting (unable to download file) message. I turned off my firewall and it still won't work? Everytime you update a game this happens! I wish you'd just leave the game alone and let us play!

If the updater refuses to work, you can grab a standalone update file from your My Page on the main Slitherine site. If you are logged in to slitherine.com this link should work:

Or you can just navigate to it from the FoGM entry on your My Page.

You want the [PC] Update v1.05.14 file, dated Jan 8 (it's 3rd down right now, which is odd). But it should allow you to update.
