GDod Syro-Canaanite 1207-1100 w/ Egyptian 1200-1150 allies beat Rob123 Urartian 749-585BC w/ Median 836-627BC allies 46-13

Rob massed his cavalry on his right flank, which was a tempting target for a chariot heavy wing backed by supports... while the Syro-Canaanites weakened right ran away shamelessly from an Egyptian concerted missile attack from his strong infantry and chariot left. Luckily, Rob's right caved in time for the Syro-Canaanites to rescue their centre and hard pressed right wing (what was left of them!). As always with Rob, a great close game.

Rosedelio (Parthian) defeated CheAhn (Roman) 55-24

The swarm of Parthian horse archers shot up the weaker Roman right wing of raw legionaries before the rest of the army could catch up. Once they did, there was enough of a gap for the horse archers to help the Parthian infantry by getting some flank charges in.

oscarius Mongol (Ilkhanid) 1230-1353 w Armenian beats mcfcivo Turkish 1299-1361: 59 - 25

Water occupied much of our map meaning the two armies fought over a narrow frontage. The Turks army was almost entirely cavalry while mine had some infantry in support. The Mongol cavalry had an edge over the Turks in shooting. My foe's dangerous siphai cavalry proved more fearsome but made their way to the frontline too late.

A fun and fast-paced match. Well-played!
