Are Necrons overpowered in multiplayer?

Hello. My friends and I are old wargame fans, and now we are excited to discover Battlesector. A great adaptation into a video game format. We play a lot of 2000 point multiplayer. We got the impression that Necrons are too strong and versatile. Do you share this opinion? I see they were made stronger in the last patch, maybe these changes broke the balance?
