AO1946 1 turn High fortress

Post by Grondel »

Deployment:
1 x Tac Bomber
With:
Image
1 x Reconplane
Deploy both to Airfield at 2,21
Turn 1:
Use the recon to give u the needed vision.
Image
If u don´t have mods active capture airfield at 11,22. With PC1 remake active the Tac-Bomber has enough range to bomb Mount Rushmore without moving to the other airfield.
Image
Move the Tac-bomber to the new airfield and bomb the supply dump at rushmore.
Image
Take the spoils...

...and finish the scenario.

Doing the bonus is not worth it. U will probably loose more than u will get. Gaining some XP for planes is the only reason to prolong this scenario beyond one turn, which no imported core needs to do.

Thomas

Wait, you are not "upgrading" everything to BF 109Z after you get these "elite" reward? :D Funny thing is the americans also got these planes with different stats and names.
Kinda sad we dont get some Neubaufahrzeug or something else.

Twin Mustangs are far better than Bf109Z in terms of firepower, the thing you want the most when using heavy fighters.

Still, they just look ridiculously and are a cheap copy of the 109z. Nothing I would ever user, even if 2x better than my best available fighters.

The F82 Twin Mustang was actually built, and saw combat in Korea.
Two surviving planes are displayed at the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

And to add to this, the Bf 109Z was the one never actually built, as the project was rejected in favor of the Do 335.
