MP differences & MP Tournaments?

Greetings,

I understand the basics of MP (using WITE2, WITW, TOAW IV, etc.) but how does it work for OOB? I have only played OOB single player and in the campaigns. The turns in OOB (at least solo for SP) are much faster paced then say WITE2, usually the two players in WITx will agree on a turn exchange rate (usually 1-3 turns a week), but how does that flow in OOB?

I could see it being almost like a real time MP game, where both would have to be on at the same time to do turns. Or does it flow just like the more monster games?

I consider 1 turn pr day a good flow, depends on the size of the scenario, numbers of players (up to 4) and if the players are in the same time zone.
The official scenarios are usually medium-sized and fast-paced. Some of the custom scenarios (like mine) tend to be quite large...

Thanks Erik, yeah I have tried or at least opened a few of yours. I have a Blitzkrieg CG going on right now and your German East 1941 one, just finished the first scenario (Balkans) and am off to Greece! Quite a challenge for this newbie.

But I see your point, I opened up in hot seat mode one of the MP 2v2 scenarios and it was huge!
