I really enjoyed this video summary of 1946, and wanted to give it a highlight.
It really touches on the best nuances of 1946, not just mentioning atomic weapons, but their design and battlefield application. There are smart comments about the uniqueness of the Fritz X armed Fugakus, and good analysis of the stat balance of the newest units in the roster compared to previous unit entries.

The Americans were "Hard-Pressed" to come up with just "2-Atomic-Bombs"... yet in your Video... i see a counter-intuitive reality in which... it seems like almost an Uncontrolled use of Atomic Weapons is being utilized without the 'reality-regard' for the difficulty involved in making them available!.Kerensky wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 10:56 pm I really enjoyed this video summary of 1946, and wanted to give it a highlight.

I mean at this point with AO1946 we are so far out of the realm of reality I think that is the least of the concerns lol. LIke the fact the Germans somehow turned WW2 around from 1943 and in 3 years built a force capable of landing and successfully conquering america is so unrealistic you just gotta go with the flow. Hell, we got Land Battleships on mainland America which probably makes even less sense then an increase in the total amount of nuclear bombs. We're just here doing nonsense stuff in this big fictional sandbox that has been made for us.Retributarr wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 12:21 amThe Americans were "Hard-Pressed" to come up with just "2-Atomic-Bombs"... yet in your Video... i see a counter-intuitive reality in which... it seems like almost an Uncontrolled use of Atomic Weapons is being utilized without the 'reality-regard' for the difficulty involved in making them available!.Kerensky wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 10:56 pm I really enjoyed this video summary of 1946, and wanted to give it a highlight.

I agree. Honestly I cant play AO46 because I feel it as a Fantasy game… landcruizers for exemple are something like dragons or magicians… i love historical strategic games, this dlc is like “Fantasy general”.FunPolice749 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 4:32 amI mean at this point with AO1946 we are so far out of the realm of reality I think that is the least of the concerns lol. Re: 1946 Video Summary
I don't have the same issue here, since it's something I know I signed up from the start. It crazy, impossible and over the top, but that what it meant to be. A one-off departure from the more grounded campaigns of the past that allows the player to unwind and yet also challenge the best and most overpowered cores. If this was the style form the start, it would probably raise more eyebrows, but as an experiment with unexplored ideas, it does its job well. So while I agree with the sentiment that this is in the realms of science fiction (I'd guess more this than fantasy), I enjoy it for what it's worth, but only since it's an epic finish of a long and memorable journey. If it was more common approach in the series, it would not work as well.GUNDOBALDO08 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 9:16 am I agree. I guess it's only fitting that the series ends with something not tried in these games before and that can be viewed with a bit of controversy by some fans, since Spanish Civil War also started off with something unusual - the AI controlled allies.

First!... if the Germans had the resources (Eg: Iron-Ore from Sweden, endless Oil from Russia, Aluminum from Norway)... and enough time to construct the shipping resources that would be needed... etc, Yes!!!'''i think that they could have pulled it off!.
Second!... "Fantasy game… landcruizers". Actually, that LandKruzer that you deem to be impossible was actually on the "Drawing Boards" as a new concept Tank... it wasn't Fantasy!.
Fantasy!... for me what is really "Fantasy" in this Game... is the abnormal heavy over-use of "Atomic-Weapons"... i would like to have a feature where i could restrict the quantity of these Atomic Bombs to some sort of sane quantity!.

Re: 1946 Video Summary
It's a good and very professional video! I cannot tell you the surprise I felt when my core was on the receiving end of a first atomic bomb in the first episode, but I remember the civil security training my parents had in Europe during the Cold War, and this super weapon extension don't seems so unreal after all, just a little advanced in time.
My first try was a catastrophe, but if my "plan did not resist it's first contact with the enemy", luckily I can adapt and retry (which is much more unreal!). This alternate story promise to be a challenge with plenty of surprises and my Germans intent to give their best!

WWII German Landkreuzer FANTASY??? Tank.
https://www.bing.com/search?q=WWII+Germ ... DA&pc=ASTS

The Landkreuzer P. 1000 "Ratte" (English: Land Cruiser P. 1000 "Rat") was a design for a 1000-ton tank to be used by Germany during World War II which may have been proposed by Krupp director Edward Grotte in June 1942, who had already named it "Landkreuzer". Submitted designs and drawings of the vehicle went under the names OKH Auftrag Nr. 30404 and E-30404/1, which were presented in December 1942. The tank was planned to be 1000 tonnes, far heavier than the Panzer VIII "Maus", the heaviest tank ever built (weighing 188 tonnes). The project gained the approval of Adolf Hitler, who had expressed interest in the development of the tank but was cancelled by Minister of Armaments Albert Speer in early 1943.
Krupp's director (Grotte), a special officer for submarine construction, who, on 23 June 1942, proposed to Adolf Hitler a 1,000-tonne self-propelled gun which he named "Landkreuzer"
Specifications
Designer Krupp
