Cant load save game San Fran AO46

I saved my game around turn 6 and cant load without crashing. I tried to load an earlier save and it still crashes. The only saves I can load are from previous scen. I had just spent about an hour changing my units hero config and upgrading units since I cant use overrun properly now. I guess I will put it on a boring anti-tank or somthing.

Im guessing it is the scenario itself. Anyone get them to load once this happens? Or at least figure out what causes this before I spend another hour re organizing my entire corps lol

unfortunately, I have the same problem and I noticed that more people have the same problem with this scenario

I managed to get past San Fran and played till Los Angeles before I needed to reload, but now I can't load any saves after a certain point in my San Fran playthrough.

there might be a conflict with the "Storm Over Europe" mod because I uninstalled the mod and I get units with exclamation marks in the main campaign
