To the dear developers of this fantastic wargame.
Hello dear developers, i'm Pandelis from Greece and i'm a huge fan of Order of Battle: World War II. I play it many times and i really enjoy it, the scenarios are great (especially the alternate history ones like the invasion of New Zeland e.t.c) and generally this game has awesome dlc's.
Now to the reason why i post this topic. The reason why i post this topic here on this forum, is to propose the making of a dlc for this game and this dlc will be an alternate history one (like the upcoming axis operations 1946 dlc for Panzercorps 2) in which the player will have to invade the USA with Japanese and German forces and this dlc will have at least 20 to 30 scenarios. Also, the scenarios will take part in the east coast of the USA (where the Germans will invade), in the west coast (where the Japanese will invade) and finally in the middle USA (where the Japanese and the Germans will meet each other to complete the invasion and finally the conquest of the USA).
I have to say that i was thinking this idea for over a year because i was totally inspired by the alternate history scenarios of this game's dlcs and i decided today to post a topic with my ideas for a fictional Axis invasion of the USA DLC for Order of Battle: World WAR II.
I hope that you will read my post and i hope that you will like my idea for this DLC and finally i hope that one day you might decide to make this DLC so that this excellent Wargame will have a new and great DLC.
Warm regards
Pandelis

Coincidentally, I am working on a campaign right now which would have some elements of what you are looking for. I have played a significant amount of Order of Battle, but I have not used the editor before. Therefore, it will take many months to learn and create the campaign. Here is the plan though...
The campaign is mostly being made as a fun way to learn the WW2 history of the region where I live. It will be focused on Washington State, which contributed significantly to the war effort. The region produced Boeing planes, Sherman tanks and ships. The region also has abundant natural resources. Units which were produced in this region and are in OoB include B17s, B29s, Sherman tanks, ships and more.
The idea is for the campaign to start in about 1936. The scenarios would begin with production and logistics. These scenarios would also include forming units and territorial defenses for the upcoming war. These would be "lightweight" scenarios with few units and turns, so that I can learn how to use the editor. These scenarios would focus on logistics and construction missions, with few enemy units or battles. The initial scenarios would be nonfictional and would include the following scenarios:
-Regional map with intro to geographical, manufacturing and logistical overview to the region starting in about 1936.
-Building defenses, and troop transport from about 1936-1941.
-Forming of Washington State and British Columbian (Canadian) territorial defense forces starting in about 1940.
-Patrols and unit training from 1940-1942.
-The Bombardment of Ellwood and the "Battle of Los Angeles"
-USA and Canadian forces responding to Japanese submarine activity from Vancouver Island to San Diego
-Production of atomic bomb
-End of WW2 with drop of atomic bomb(s)
In total, the nonfiction portion could have about 10-20 scenarios. It would be fun to focus on some local individuals which had significant contributions to WW2. Thus, some scenarios might include unique missions to develop the character stories of these individuals. Special missions could also include delivery of weapons produced in the early war and distributed to foreign countries (Brewster Buffalos to Australia, for example).
The next part is what might interest you more. This would be a fictional alternative, with the Axis powers and USSR agreeing to peace somewhere in the timeframe of 1943-1945. This truce would allow Germany to transport troops across Russia and the artic circle, allowing for an invasion. Japan, Finland, or other Axis powers could also be part of the invasion. This part of the campaign could include the following fictional battles:
-Surprise attack through the Strait of Juan de Fuca
-Invasion force landing on Vancouver Island/San Juan Islands
-Naval battle of Puget Sound
-Invasion force landing on the beaches of Washington State
-The "Battle of Seattle"
This alternative campaign would likely include about 5-10 scenarios and end in 1946. The current thinking is that the Axis would not make much progress. However, the unwritten alternative history will ultimately decide the outcome of WW2...
Some obvious points need to be made before this campaign can be released... I have no experience with modding this game, I have limited knowledge of history, and limited time. The quality and balance of the campaign could be challenging, and I expect it will take hundreds of hours to make. It would be many months or years before this campaign would come to fruition. It also is not exactly what you are looking for in terms of invasions on both coasts, and would only include a limited number of fictional invasion scenarios.
Even if this comes to nothing, I am excited to learn more about the history of the region and to begin this modding experiment. Any input or help would be appreciated. The first step is to learn how to use the editor, lol! Enough typing, time to get to work.

That is a very interesting idea. It made me think of the old SPI board wargame "Dixie". In this game's setting, after the Confederacy emerged from the American Civil War as an independent country, the North and South have gone to war again in the 1930s. That would be another interesting "what if" campaign.

The invasion of America by the Russians to change:

Re: A DLC about a fictional Axis invasion of the USA
It won’t be much different than west part of endsieg, but happening in British and US.
Let 1945 is stop gap, i really want to extend the afrika campaign to south USSR (re-enable Blaue campaign) or invasion of India. Like the original Afrika Korp in PC.
Or Sea Lion
Or Japanese march on Burma/India.
After 1945 campaign will be flooded by Atomic and fictional weapons, which is very awkward for historical-lover. And not to say the ending in endsieg with reasonable armistice as victory for Third reign

Update. Some parts work, but. It's mostly not functional. I intend to finish a beta in the next year or two. If anyone wants to help with the triggers, let me know!

Re: A DLC about a fictional Axis invasion of the USA
I seem to remember someone making a North America map but it wasn't multiplayer sadly. The kind of thing that's crying out to be made. Ideally it would be on the scale of Parreigo's "The Russian Campaign", and in a perfect world I'd love it to be heavily counterfactual. To my mind the best way to plausibly have Germany invade North America would be if it never broke the alliance with Russia. So start with some flavour text along the lines of "After the Fuhrer's tragic and definitely accidental choking to death on schnitzel, herr Rommel cemented the union with comrade Stalin and steamrolled what was left of Europe. As American intelligence foiled Tojo's coup attempt, a grateful Japan joins the forces of democracy in fighting back!" So Germany and the USSR versus US / UK / Japan. Obviously there are any number of ways to approach it though.
