Division A
Kroche (Indian (Hindu North) 600-1049AD) defeats rafydedel (Chinese (Wu-Zhou 690-705AD)
44-13
Indians were in danger of suffocating on their own advance as opponent pushed forward into rough on their far right and dropped back in the centre and left, leading Indians into a mass of bowmen with some protection from armoured spearmen. Indians had to keep going to avoid getting shot to pieces and their elephants did exactly what was expected of them (for once) they successfully charged and managed to break into the softer bow units of the Chinese and create enough havoc to break the centre before the Chinese right could finish off the Indians opposing them there. GG

Division B
angusosborne (Tang) defeats wzfcns (Tibetan) 40-8
A mountainous battlefield, but there was a gap around the mountains on one flank which I sent a couple of cavalry units through, and the Tibetans advanced past the mountains on the other flank, allowing me to surround them. I was lucky enough to hold up pretty well against superior Tibetan troops in the centre. The Tibetans have some very tough units, but not many of them.

Div A
Rafydedel (Indian (Hindu North) 600-1049AD) defeats Kroche (Chinese (Wu-Zhou 690-705AD) 63-39
The battle spreaded on all the width of the battlefield, with lines very stretched. Chinese managed to rout one elephant, with significant impact on the Indian left wing moral, but Indian had more luck on their right wing, where they could defeat Chinese cavalry and infantry line before Chinese could regroup.
Thanks Kroche for the battle

Re: HOML 5 Silk Road Results.
Results, week 3
Just a reminder on timliness:
Once a game has been started you should aim to complete it within a month, that means playing a move most days. All turns must be returned within three days, unless by prior notice.
So playing 2-3 turns a week is too slow, and if you are going to be away for a few days you must inform your opponent. Div A. Bob leads the field.
Div B. Ray leading with three impressive wins.
Div C. anderarcos11 has almost certainly won the division, close battle for 2nd and 3rd..

Division B
angusosborne (Tibetan) defeats wzfcns (Tang) 40-12
In this half of the mirror I kept the Tibetan flanks secure and beat up the Tang through the middle. Special shout out to the Xiangyong: Medium Foot, Below Average Quality, Protected, Heavy Weapon. I found them useful to extend the line and they hold their own.

Division A
Kroche (Han 99BCE - 23CE) defeated BobGanoush (Indo-Greek 175BCE - 10CE)
41% loss to 64% loss.
Han troops held their left, helped by a hill and units recovering from early drop in cohesion. Han right was a mounted wing which made little headway into the Indo-Greek medium troops defending a small hill. Han right was stuck and in danger of being shot up and Indo-Greek irregular foot were closing in, but one rout in the Indo-Greek line led to a few sympathy disruptions and helped to turn the tide there. Indo-Greeks had a strong centre remaining and if they had one more turn the scores would have been similar. GG
