Varangian Guard

Post by philqw78 »

Has anybody got a recommendation for Varangian Guard for the Nikephorian army. Spear and lots of mail types. I liked the look of splintered Light minis armoured Romano-Brits mixed with some of their armoured Saxons with Spear. Would look nice, but would they be completely wrong?

OGs look good but IIRC they have a lot of axes with shields hung on the back.

Personally if you can afford the up market end go with these guys;

Khurasan are very nice figures my brother has brought some for his Niks and they are great. I think comparing them to some of my figures Khurasan are slightly bigger than the true 15mm figure.
