Re: beta test ??
Assuming all this is in reference to the CEaW BJRModVer2.00 beta testing ... I'm one of the developers of the mod (along with Borger, Jim, Tim & Paul) and also one of the 10 or so beta testers.menstein wrote:are u a beta tester, at this point in time?rkr1958 wrote:menstein wrote:do i get payed for being a beta tester??

Beta testers are usually not paid. They do usually receive a credit if they provide feedback on their experience with the beta version. The purpose of beta testing is to get a game which is near release out to a slightly wider audience of interested players so that they can provide any feedback early enough to influence the development of the game.

Oh sorry I must have misunderstood, I thought you were asking to be paid by the BJR team for beta-testing. I was shocked because wouldn't the enjoyment of a wonderful mod that adds to a great game be payment enough? Never mind the "bahahaha" as now I understand it was just a general question.so whats the joke?

I knew what you meant ... I was just joking around and trying to lightening the mood with "menstein". I though he was joking until I got a PM from him. Anyway, we can only afford to pay our beta testers $100 / hour (US). Now development ... that's where the real money is.
