Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Hi all,
My next large project is about the South African Marmon-Herrington armored car family. I've already done Mk.IV and Mk.VI, but there are a lot to be done for the earlier Mk.I to Mk.III, especially for the Mk.II variants. There are several allied countries got the Marmon-Herrington series. I will upload all the versions within the South African Army first, then group the others by countries.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Marmon-Herrington Mk.I. This type produced between April 1940 to November 1940. It has a 4x2 chassis, armed with two .303 Vickers water-cooled SMGs, one on the turret, the other on the left side of the body. The Mk.I only equipped in the South African Army.
The icon has a two-tone Mediterranean camo I prepared. I made three variants of this type of camo and will upload here later after I finished all the Marmon-Herringtons.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Marmon-Herrington Mk.II series. Starting from this type, they used the all-wheel drive chassis, which gave much better off-road abilities. The production was between Spring 1940 to Spring 1941. It has two subtypes, one called MFF (Mobile Field Force), with the same armaments to MK.I; the other called ME (Middle East), armed with a Boys AT rifle and a Bren LMG, all in a slightly enlarged turret.
The South African Army also had a field modification type of the MK.II, which the turret got removed and mounted a captured Italian 47/32 AT gun.
All the three SA Marmons are applied with the two-tone Mediterranean camo.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Marmon-Herrington MK. III. This type produced between mid-1941 to late 1942, and it has the largest number of the entire family, 2630 went off the production line. The Mk. III has a new engine, a shortened body, and a redesigned turret. The armament consists of a Boys AT rifle and a Vickers .303 SMG.
There is also a field modification in South African Army, by removing the turret and mounted a Italian 47/32 AT gun.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
The next user of the Marmon-Herrington armored cars is the New Zealand Army. Starting from 1941, they got a number of Mk.II Middle East versions fought in Greece and North Africa. Here I prepared the New Zealanders the famous Caunter Scheme camo. They also mounted an extra Vickers SMG on top of the turret for air defense. Another field modification is using captured Italian Breda 20/65 AA gun instead.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
The Free Polish Army used Marmon-Herrington series in both North Africa and Europe. In NA they had MK.II with addition Bren LMG on top of the turret, and later MK.III. The Free Polish is also the only troops brought some MK.IVFs to the European theater.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Hi there,
Now I'm going to upload some new camo skins/thumbnails I prepared. Each post will includes the skin files combo and a unit example with that camo.
The South African Mediterranean two tone camo variant 1. The example is the Achilles tank destroyer, issued to the South African army in Italy from early 1945.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Start from today, I will upload my DCS skins for French vehicles. As we know, the French army in WW2 were very creative for their camouflages, not only for the armored vehicles, but also soft skins. My skins are all based on the color reconstructions from the French GBM magazines. Each post will includes the two camo files plus one example of the unit.
Camo #1 is a two tone version with the dark green base and red brown belts vertically placed. The example is a Bucciali AM41
