English army for 1314, The Battle of Bannockburn

Post by dab »

I was looking at the English army list for The Battle of Bannockburn 1314 and notice the book list starts in 1320.
Why?
The list has one unit of Mounted Knight. which is OK from 1315 to 1319 since most
of the battles in England and Scotland the Knights were dismounted.
But for the Battle of Bannockburn 1314 there should be 4 units mounted or 10 to 15% of the Army.
2000 mounted Knights.

I think you are looking at the list in Storm of Arrows, however, the list that would cover Bannockburn is in the recently released Oaths of Fealty.
