Weird Crash

Here's something very new & weird. I've never had any big problems - I'm on the 3rd scenario of '1945 Operations : Historical' (played all DLC's). Now, as of right now, I'm getting what appears to be a "Language Section" page - never, ever seen before - and subsequently the 'Load Game' dialog crashes every time without offering a save game choice.
Obviously I'm completely 'dead in the water'.

OK, I left this for a bit and then got slightly creative. I started the 'Grand Campaigns' mod and then proved that the 'Load Game' feature still worked for me. I then tried to load my last '1945 Ops' Save - crashed again !
Having to accept the inevitable, I deleted the last couple of Saves and went back earlier in the '1945 Ops'. Worked !!!
I've since moved on and preparing for 'Operation Spring Awakening' - knowing the history, I'm looking forward to this as much as 'The Destruction of Army Group Centre'
