Update v2.20 is finished by me. AKRebel will launch it if he has done his things like startscreen and screen languages things. So it will come soon. Major Stalingrad update in it. Extension of Chinese units. Lot of new Bigeria units. 88mm FlaK guns for Minor countries like Rumania and Hungaria. Resistance sabotage groups. Waffen SS Tatra 57K, Sdkfz-6 and SdKfz-6/2. Extension of French units, French motorcycles and much more.

I am already busy with update v2.30. Extension of the USA units, lot of trucks, M5 and M6 tractor. More halftrack variants. M6 GMC and much more. 88mm FlaK guns for 1, 2, 3 and 5 SS division.

A while ago there was a request for Spitfires. Wurschtmaxe is working on that now. About his progress:

"The following versions will be included:

Mk I/II
Mk V
Mk Vc Trop (complete new tropical version for Northern Africa/Southern Europe/Asia) - same stats as Mk V
Mk IX (also for Mk VIII...mainly for RAAF use)
Mk XIe (new version with short wings - mainly for cosmetic reasons and more diversity, you can use the stats for Mk IX)
Mk XIV (new correct shape to replace still existing Mk XIV´s ingame)

I will add Sptifres not only for RNZAF and RAAF but for USAAF too. For RNZAF I will add only an "Asian" version - because the NZ units for the European theatre can use the standard RAF icon."

If this units are ready they will be in the next coming update.

That's so exciting! Would you please also prepare some late war Spitfire variants using Griffon engines, such as Mk.XVII, Mk.XX, Mk.XXII? Thanks a lot.

Hi Birgeria,

more "modern" Spitfires? Why not But the Mk.XVIII went into production at March 1945. So its probably a little too late for the mod. But I will create a icon - so PHCAS and AKRebel can decide (not) to use it
The Mk. XX was in fact a Griffon IIB-powered Mk IV prototype with a six-cannon armament build in 1941 and 1942 (I think only two were built). Maybe it could be interesting as prototype-only unit.
The Mk.XXII was also serving in small numbers only and generally too late for the Second World War (same as Mk.XVIII). ...but on the other hand - not too late for the Far East theatre of war

And in fact the Mk.XIV has already the Griffon - its hard to see in the picture posted above.
