Re: Birgeria's new PZC units

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
When the Italian Army started to modernize their artillery equipment during the 1930s, the first new gun they got is the 75/18 Mod.34 mountain howitzer. The gun itself was also mounted on the 75/18 Mod.35 divisional howitzer and later the semovente 75/18 assault gun.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Yes thank you Birgeria to keep coming with interesting units and keep the flow going
Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Thank you all for the support!
Today I bring this very rare howitzer. The Italian 105/14 Mod.18 gun. So far I only found one picture of it. This howitzer was a French Schneider design. Italian bought the license for mass production after WW1, but soon they also got a large amount of the Skoda 100/17 Mod.14 as the war booty from the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Apparently, the Skoda gun is superior than the Schneider, and thus only several dozens of the 105/14 produced. They also met some battles in WW2.
This gun has a beautiful double curved shield. There is also an additional narrow and curve barrel shield and when the gun elevated, this shield can extend beyond the main shield, which makes a unique profile of this weapon.
Here I have both the sand yellow North Africa version and the dark green mainland Italy version.

French Citroen-Kegreesse P14 half track, often used to tow 155m Mle.1917 howitzers. There is also a Belgian version of it, built by FN and used their own engine, called FN-Kegresse 3 ton half track.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
I got these three units together. They are the French armors in the Indochina colony.
Renault UE tankette, with one 7.5 mm MG;
Panhard AMD 35, with a APX-5 turret (this turret was also used in the Gendron-Somua AM39);
Renault AMR 35, with an old FT-17 turret.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
French 25mm SA-37 AT gun. It is an improved version of the SA-34 and has a one-piece gun shield. However, the soldiers still preferred SA-34 for some reason.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
Two small modifications of the T-34/76 tank produced in 1942.
One is from the UTZ factory, having a hexagonal turret, no commander's copula.
The other is from the UZTM factory, cast turret, no commander's copula.

Re: Birgeria's new PZC units
My next project is to rework some of my old icons that I don't like. But before it, here is my last unit from the Polish Army. The single prototype of the PzInz 130 amphibian tank. It was based on the Vickers design, so it is kind of a cousin of the Russian T-37. PzInz 130 shares the same turret and armament with the 4TP light tank. The prototype was captured by German in Warsaw.
