I want to restrict some equipment quantities being purchased at the start of a game - for instance I don't want players to be able to purchase several Maus and unlimited 262A fighters.
I assumed Scenario Parameters > Players > Limited Availability Pool would resolve this but I cannot fathom the format required as the Editor example seems to make no sense and I've tried various options without success.
The question is, what exactly is the format required? The Editor the format required shows "ID1(number1)". To me that doesn't make much sense. Maus ID is 39. I've tried ID39(1) to limit purchase to one but that doesn't do anything.
How can I otherwise restrict purchasable items?
Incidentally, in the Editor I've loaded numerous Scenarios and none have any entry under Limited Availability Pool.

restricting a single unit is not that simple.OldFocker wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 3:26 pm I want to restrict some equipment quantities being purchased at the start of a game - for instance I don't want players to be able to purchase several Maus and unlimited 262A fighters.

first u need to remove the unit u want to restrict from the purchase list. there are 2 ways to do that.
1 is modifying and using the typelist.csv the other is modifying the units.csv (unit.csv is btw the table where u find the "ID" u were looking for. it´s the first column.)
then u can "add" the unit in whatever quantity u want by using the prototype or limited stock option from the editor.

Re: Limited Availability Pool - question...
Thanks for the reply. It seems overly complicated for what on the face of it looks like a simple operation as I outlined in my post. I am not at all impressed with the Editor. I am left wondering what the Limited Availability Pool is for, as not one of the Scenarios I've downloaded (for clues!) have any entries in this parameter.

u will find the files in ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1072040\2410075863 and check the Limited preludes campaign.
i use the feature in evry scenario there. But it is restricted for all the equipment not just a single unit. this is way easier than restricting just one unit.
If u are a little patient, in the 2nd halve of the year we are going to rework the units. restricting all the "prototype" units is on the table as well, but it will surely be late in the year/early next year till we are done with that.
to check how the typelists.csv works u can check the SCW-DLC scenarios that have italien aux units.
