what r the negatives to runany victory for the air only campaign? I pickup the new aircraft, etc,. then configure my air only force for the battle. then to speed play, do runany victory. am I missing out on anything?

Exp and reward for finishing objectives, which means you either lose CP from Bonus Objectives that can grant you future rewards, or bonus from Elite Objectives that you can not get anywhere else. You have to specify which scenario are you skipping so we can go into details.

You would lose the first batch of Tiger I this way I think, if you skip this scenario. It asks for 5 CP at the start of the next scenario, so if you skip this one, you won't have enough for it. It is also a good place to train your aircraft for level 3 Survivor medal, which would in return saves your units in late war battles.
