They have found the Montevideo Maru.

I have read that Australians view this incident in the same way that Americans feel about 9/11. The Australians do not blame the U.S. whose submarine sank the Montevideo Maru. They blame Japan for sending hundreds of prisoners of war on an unmarked, unescorted passenger ship into dangerous waters.

Yeah I remember seeing that story. Hopefully it doesn't end up getting looted like so many other shipwrecks of the period.
