Ironclad (Germanic Foot Tribes 260-599 AD with Roman allies) defeated DirtyMark (Roman 285-312 AD with Frankish allies) 54-29

A battle between two well matched armies. The main German effort was on the right where a strong enemy force including two Cats halted any forward movement. Consequently in order to unhinge the defence the Germans focused on taking out the Cats, which proved a time consuming process. Meanwhile a secondary German action centred around quality warbands made some progress on the left, but was soon faced by superior enemy numbers and matching quality troops who were supported by cavalry whose success on the extreme flank proved threatening.

Despite this the German left, helped by some reinfocements, managed to hold on long enough until the complete triuuph of their allies and compatriots on the right and centre secured victory. Thanks to DirtyMark for a tough and challenging battle.
