I have for the longest time done something even more daring than that on the Warsaw map: I start on the North and NE side and fight my way to the northern and Eastern sectors' river. Then, with a combo of practiced tactics, I use a Bridging Engineer to force an assault across the river to the north to capture those two main airports at the center of the city/defense. From there, I rebase my aircraft and victory is mine!

This is the only save file to show you that I could find, so it's a little after the deed was already done. But you can still tell what I described above.

Breezing through 1940, I have to say the only reason Sealion is so easy is because the RAF just isn't there.

Portsmouth in particular, really should be swarming with RAF planes. Their absence made that mission so much easier. I think IRL, the British absolutely would have pivoted all their London defensive airforce towards Portsmouth the moment they sussed out it was a feint on London tbh.

Afair the whole invasions takes just a few weeks. After the storm to london you army is retreating as fast as possible, the british might have saved london first, before trying to catch your army. We also do not know if there is still a airbattle somewhere else going on.
I think its ok, I also like the story and in sealion 2 and 3 the RAF is quite strong.
