TrueUpdate has never worked for me

(I'm not sure this is the right forum - apologies if not).

Taking a shot in the dark here. Ever since Matrix / Slitherine started using TrueUpdate, many years, many games, and many homes (for me) ago, I've had an issue with it: it doesn't work. Ever.

For as long as it's been in use, it's failed to download anything for me. I've always had to log into the website to manually download and install patch files for all my games. While this process fills me nostalgia for the early aughts, it's a bit inconvenient.

Is this something that's been seen by others? Any obvious fixes I could try?

Where are you based? What are your firewall settings?

Hello!

I'm in Pennsylvania (US East Coast). I haven't touched my firewall settings, so whatever Windows Defender defaults to. ISP is Comcast/Xfinity, but as far as I've been able to determine, they're not trying to block access (I have very limited access to logs from them).

Sorry I didn't see this early, after the first couple of days, the browser tab migrated out of my active memory.

Your best bet is to contact support@slitherine.co.uk and they can dig into it with you, you can share more information without it being public.
