Britcon. FOG:Renaissance beta tournament - open to all

Post by rbodleyscott »

Just a reminder - enter now 8)

Britcon 2009

Slitherine is pleased to announce that the BHGS will host the first tournament using the new Field of Glory Renaissance Wars ruleset at Britcon 2009. The Rules cover land battles of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in Europe and around the world. Players familiar with Field of Glory will find much that is familiar but new and the period-specific features and mechanisms give Field of Glory Renaissance Wars a flavour all its own. The rule set is still being developed and this competition offers a unique opportunity to have your thoughts and ideas incorporated into the final rules.

This is also open to those currently not on the beta programme - so it is also a way on getting on the programme :D

The competition is likely to be influential in the development process and is a chance to badger the writing team in the flesh 8)

That would be great if we could get a copy of the army lists or changes in the rules. Unless it is just open to the Beta testers.

So you are most welcome to enter - and if you come from Chicago you may well be the participant who travelled furthest 8)

Could I send Chuck as my second? He seems to have more money than god.

you guys should come to chicago and host one of your BOOT CAMPS
I saw Hammy's picture in the April edition of Minature Wargames talking about an FOG BOOT CAMP

FOG is making strides here BUT there are only a few Gaming Stores here handling Ancients so it is hard for the "new guys" to get a handle on what army to get. Most of the Gaming stores here are into Fantasy stuff

I would be happy to do so but it is a bit of a long way to travel :( Perhaps next time I am in the USA (which alas at present I really have no idea when that will be).

Who do we have to send the money to?

I understand this is a one way ticket.
