During the MP game The Fork my side (the good guys) seems to score no pints for holding Control Points while the opponents ( the bad guys) seem to get their Control Point points. I assume that the good guy flags (the green ones) are control points. No log file at the moment because I forgot to safe one, can or will do next turn.

Alas I am the other Good Guy. My read is that the only Primary VP location (denoted by a gold star atop the flag pole) is in the central city, ie we are just not very good. :-\
Re: VP's - The Fork [2v2]
Whahaha, that explains a lot, why are we hunting for silver flags by the way?

Silver flags = xtra resources if I remember correctly.

Re: VP's - The Fork [2v2]
I suspect the points are for any of the cities on the centre line, as I don't recall you guys ever holding the central city, and Erik and I have more points than turns. Since we grabbed the middle one, and the bottom centre line location, and you took a while to grab the northen one, does that account for the discrepancy?Celeborn wrote: Thu May 11, 2023 8:57 pm Alas I am the other Good Guy. Another random thought would be how about only giving points for locations which were kept occupied, rather than just controlled, by a player? The more you take, the more resource you have to commit to keeping them, making further attack harder...?
Oh and good and bad are such subjective terms
Re: VP's - The Fork [2v2]
I read the map, units and flags wrong right at the start which was not a clever start. In the next game I would, I mean, WE would probably beat you guys easily... MOEHAHA... I am just kidding but I started without looking good enough at the map, probably late in the evening after a busy busy day. Fun scenario, I will for sure play it again.

it is a great 2v2 and should be included if there is ever a team tournament. (albeit with perhaps less than 100 turns...)
