Mod campaign unit

Hi i'm new to modding, but i want to know if there are a way to add new unit in the main campaign? like if i want to add some other axis equipment in the main campaign shop

As of today no modder knows how to add 3d unit models.

There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
