there are no pop ups in Yakovlevo43.
What map did the empty box pop up on?

When you capture one of the bonus objectives on Yakolevo, in this case Rzhavets, there is a message box showing but it is empty. i.e. no text. It has been like that for a very long time even it used to work. Same like when you get Allerberger later on, the message box announcing him is also empty. I am not really bothered by it though, just a note.

Initially from the forum since it was not available on Steam back then but I switched to Steam a fairly long time ago. thx, found the issue with allerberger. will be fix by tomorows update. Preludes-Ltd now exists in parallel to Preludes. In Ltd-campaigns u have limited stock, limited ammunition and limited elite replacements. By using the "Limted Stock" feature that comes with the base game (advanced options) u can adjust the number of stock u get to ur liking.
The limited stock u get is calculated by the following formula:
400 divided by units prestige value times unit size
example:
infantry unit at 250 prestige: 400 / 250 * 15 = 24 stock received
usual tank unit at 500 prestige: 400 / 500 * 10 = 8 stock received
super heavy vehicle at 1000 prestige:400 / 1000 * 10 = 4 stock received
The first time a unit shows up the stock will always be big enough to field at least 1 unit.
This will be added campaign per campaign to the whole mod.

Regarding Update 28.04.23:
Advanced Training: the accept/reject (yes/no) boxes when accepting the Flammpanzer II are blank
Combined Arms: It is not possible to select a new hero despite having the prestige. Well you get Schulz but not an additional one. Not sure if that has alwaya been the case since it's been a while since I played 'preludes'

normal or limited edition?
u used to get 2 but 2 hero scripts in a scenario tend to cause issues, thats why its either random hero or special hero from now on.

I'm having a markedly easier time of things in 43 as opposed to 42. Is this a common experience?
Here is a quick summary of my thoughts:
39 - Easy
40 - Easy
41 - Ramping up difficulty
42 - Really hard! Can we just skip this?
43 - Similar to 41 (perhaps slightly easier)
Edit: As I've said something negative, I wouldn't want anyone (especially the mod creator) to get the wrong impression! Overall I very much like it & have nothing but praise & thanks to offer

Stronger russian tanks start to appear
Russians have good equipment and tigers/panthers are not there yet. unless u capture a lot u will struggle.
tiger and panther as well as decent AT guns start turning up. Same for airforce.

Nothing much to do with the equipment so far as I can recall. It seemed like every unit in '42 had a provocateur/survivor and/or the +3 ground defense/readiness hero. My standard overun bounce from one unit to the next to the next broke down b/c of the heroes.
Sorry, I can't be of much more use than that as so long as my process is working I pay little regard "slight variances" & would probably be just making stuff up if I were try to explain a difference between the years or the hows and whys. They seem quite like a "normal" Panzer Corps game to me (except for '42).
I think I may prefer much of it to the DLC provided by Slitherine. It is certainly comparable. Same for Storm Over Europe. I like the scenario set-ups and especially the unique heroes (especially extra movement) and equipment. For instance, I was just playing through '43 with denied artillery and took the special offering of the Sturmtiger which then worked up to 4-star in the training scenario. You read my mind. Sometimes I'll just give myself the 3 trait points of denied artillery just for 1 upgrade similar to that.
