Cool, sounds like I have an earlier beta version and hence do not have some of the Armies. That is a relief.

I have had another look and I cannot find Alexandrian Macedonian or the Persian armies that faced him in the Immortal Fire beta. My understanding that in the TT set these armies are included in Immortal Fire.

Sounds promising

Each to their own I suppose. I like the randomness of combat. Overall it is generally predictable but occassionally will surprise you. I enjoy that and also suspect it is realistic as the unexpected happened regularly in real life battles.

Those Later Grenadine are an interesting opponent. Amaz Ed just kicked the crap out of my Condotta army with them.

Reloaded 1.1.0 -> 1.2.5. All good now. SOA loaded as well and games played. Problem solved.
