How does this play on the iPad versus the PC? I'm wanting to buy the iPad version.

I really like the tooltips in the PC version of this game, but does the iPad version also have them? If so then how do they work since you can't mouse hover?

Sometimes (more often than not) when I click the green Select button, it clicks but does not go into the mission. I played the first mission and can't get into the second one. I have Windows 7 64 bit running on a quad core i7 960. I have the 1.5.0 patch installed. I have played two times on this PC and both times I won I got this error after closing the victory dialog:

When I click Multiplayer, it tries to connect and comes back with a message that says "Serial number not registered." What must I do now?

I bought FoG at Matrix and it is registered in the Members Area.

I bought my copy of FoG at Matrix along with the Rome expansion. Will this new SoA expansion if I bought it here at Slitherine work with my Matrix version of the game?

From the New Game, then selecting Digital Army Generator Game, then going back to Historical Game, the scrollbars disappear in the New Game scenario box. I can still scroll the scenario list with the mouse scroll wheel, but the scrollbars go away. Exiting the game and coming back restores them. Belo...

Iain; What a nice surprise! Thank you very much for the expansion. The 173 page manual is full of pictures, graphs, and goodies. There was a ton of work put into this and I thank all who participated. What a great addition to the game.

No help here, no help at Matrix, but I found the problem myself. DirectX acceleration, I turned it off and it works fine now. I'm done buying PC games after about 300 of them, and going back to consoles. I am fed up with lockups, bugs, patches, and delayed crap. Thank you for your time, iainmcneil.

No. The attached game at the Matrix link is the first scenario on the list of games. This last lock up was with a custom scenario I created, so it locks up with both types at the victory screen.

Finish the last turn and then at the victory menu, wait a few minutes and then click the Close button. That's when it locks up. I just finished another custom game and it locked up the same way. I'm running XP with SP2.

However, this does not happen on my other system running Vista.
