Re: Enhancement Suggestion: Reduce Live Opponent Delays
Thanks for the clarification, guys. What happens to 'old games'? (For example, I have games where my opponent hasn't made a move in many weeks and I doubt he went to v.20). As far as alternative methods, this is a no brainer - just use an in-game time clock. This is pretty much standard for a lot of...

Re: Enhancement Suggestion: Reduce Live Opponent Delays
Note: I am aware that there is a setting of "One Week Moves" but am sure about how it actually works. No luck so far on finding any documentation on this setting.

Enhancement Suggestion: Reduce Live Opponent Delays
One thing that peeves me is games that drag out. (Don't get me wrong, of course, I acknowledge sometimes I'm the slow-poke!) What I'd like to propose is the following: 1. To keep games moving along, there is a setting for maximum days per move. (Default = 2 days, minimum is 1 day, maximum is 5 days)...

Game Switching
In BoB one could easily jump to the next turn in another game, one button. In DoM it's many more buttons across several screens. Am I missing something?

Re: Series Replay: rbeyma vs gregorit
My executive summary of December 17th: I thought things were going well until my Eupen counterattack failed. I had a very good shot of retreating the two German infantry but I didn't end up inflicting any damage. I figured it was a safe move given my reinforcements coming in and I was also counting ...

I'll be there - if there were an organized event, I'd surely participate. Even if it weren't so organized.

End of December 17
Here's the situation at the end of the 17th. I'll pause here to allow Richard to comment on the day's results.

Series Replay: Start of 17AM
So here's the beginning of the 17th; a few key thoughts going through my mind: 1) Bastogne is garrisoned with two armor units. Having four factors in there will make it a little tough to take and both of them being armor should ensure I nick a few attackers. 2) My Eupen position is not great. Having...

Re: Series Replay: rbeyma vs gregorit
More coming guys. Richard and I have been playing, albeit slowly, I just need to get some time to organize my screen shots and put together some cogent thoughts. I've had to make some tough decisions about time allocation and, while I can play the games, keeping up on the postings is a different, an...

Regarding posting videos: I'm afraid I'm a bit old-school - I don't know that I have the skills and tools necessary to post on You-Tube in a fashion that would meet my own quality standards. I am doing some research though, one thing that I would want to be able to do is load, and reload, a saved ga...

US 16AM Commentary
Reports from the front lines are somewhat troubling - I have limited air recon assets but I am receiving widespread reports from forward posts of the 99th, 106th, and 29th infantry divisions of large scale German attacks. Below is what they're telling me - I'm just hoping it's just "jumpiness&q...

Re: Series Replay: rbeyma vs gregorit
Stop the presses! I'm going to be the Allies. Allied Strategy: My approach is generally opportunistic in nature - the US will count on bad luck or questionable decision-making by my opponent before taking any significant chances. I will make Richard fight for every VP city except St. Vith. Bastogne ...

"On December 16th, 1944, Germany launched its last, desperate offensive in the West. Seven Panzer and thirteen infantry divisions burst out of the Ardennes and swept through the surprised and thinly held American line. In the most dramatic and bloodiest battle of the West, the American Army wo...
