Re: How playable is this game on Windows Tablet ?
I've been playing Armdageddon on a recently purchased HP Stream 7 (x86 Atom, Win 8.1, 1GB RAM) - it works perfectly, it's quick, no latency..basically you wouldn't know you were playing it on a low spec machine. With regards to touch functionality - as mentioned below, right click is a pain (unless ...

I know we shouldn't be comparing TT to this game...
BUT...
Flamers really should ignore cover. Really. They should. Heavy flamers even more so than regular ones!

Hey guys The "Final Stand at Acheron" mission objective reads "Control all at least 5 Victory Hexes at the end of the scenario". Image attached. Also.. IDS_SCN11_001_YARRICK - "Ready you men for war!" IDS_SCN11_008_YARRICK - "Reports from there is extremely incoher...

Nice!
My Steam version has updated also...I see you guys fixed the freezing-when-selecting-hex-visibility problem - nice one.
The detailed unit stats are awesome. Really awesome!

Yup. Definitely thisrezaf wrote:"areaofeffect{percentage}". Causes percentage% damage to all surrounding tiles.

Re: Feedback
Incidentally, one thing I'd really like to see (that is in complete opposition to the tabletop game but does exist in the fluff, particularly in the novels) is scouts that are able to remain hidden unless they engage the enemy (or get too close, i.e. adjacent tiles). A squad of ratling snipers, or S...

Re: Transports
On the table-top each vehicle is given a number of firing ports...be it zero in the case of a completely enclosed vehicle, two for things like Rhinos and Chimeras (the hatch on the roof), and no limit on anything open topped (everyone just shoots over the side).

Re: Map grid error
I can confirm that I'm having the same issue. Map grid is set to off. I was mid-mission and thought I'd have a look at what it's like with it on, so tried to select soft, but the game just froze when I clicked it. Application exited (Closed, rather than waited for it to respond - I'd already waited ...

Re: Feedback
I started an Eldar campaign on DoW2:Retribution last night again, since they were the only race I hadn't fully completed the campaign with...it's still great fun. So right now I'm dipping in and out between Armageddon and Retribution. I even considered getting stuck into finishing the last bit of pa...

Re: Transports
If I could add one more state to this...Immobilised. The transport has taken sufficient damage that it can no longer move, the squad must disembark, the transport remains able to fire until it is destroyed, but it can't move.

Re: infantry proposal fix v2.0
The real solution is go for Horsts idea and forego a volume based deployment limit in favor of a point based one. I actually had that same idea earlier, and I'm sure someone did before me - after all, it doesn't take a genius to connect the dots, with the tabletop featuring exactly that model. Yup....

I know, Horst...I must've played 130+ hours on the Dawn of War 2 games. I still want to play them now. Alas, the story twists don't come as much of a surprise when you've played them through so many times.

Re: Feedback
After victory (which message can be easily customized) there is an access to the next briefing, which can actually be a reward briefing of any length. Some campaign scenarios do that Very true, but I'm not even looking for something as substantial as that. Perhaps it's just me, but when you put tim...
