Fixed! When I saw that it was mostly an error with the disc versions I decided to disable my virtual drive and bam! It worked.

I've been having this error too. I bought the game off steam. When I've verified integrity of game cache it comes back instantly saying it's fine. I've tried re-downloading and re-installing, and on both my hard-drives without any success. I've had my internet security turned off when I've been down...
