Would be nice to be able to turn hex visibility on in options. (agree) but maybe classed as cheating by some, over head orbital view by others, as no map in space age times will be empty either

IMHO hexes should be on by default. Range represented by them is single most important ...

I am already familiarized with Warhammer 40k and as such I feel game does good job in introducing someone new to the reality of the universe. Although job is so huge it cannot be ever done in 100%.
