Re: Hacking save files
You're right but I see this as more of an "exchange" of constituent formations that "converts" the role of the parent. A reorganization of men and equipment... not just the equipment. At least that seems to be the way most countries effected div level re-orgs under reasonably normal conditions (ie ...

Re: Hacking save files
Wow. Great info. Thanks.
As to why I would want to do that? Just to adapt my formations to the changing theaters and complexion of the war as it progressed. Take a look at the history of the 19th Pz Div for example. Converted from an Inf Div to an Armored Div early in the war. This kind of thing ...

Re: Game won't start - constant crash
OK I solved the problem. It was something in the MY GAMES folder left over from the previous installation. Deleting the OOB:P folder from MY GAMES fixed it.

Game won't start - constant crash
So I was having problems updating the game to 167... CRC errors in the files. I finally found a link to one that allowed me to update without error, but then the game started crashing every time I tried to run it. I figured the several aborted attempts to update with the bad files might have hosed ...

Re: Order of Battle Pacific is Updated to Version 1.6.7!
I know I can download manually, but I still wanted to report a problem with the auto-updater. Every time I run it for this update (167) it reports a decompression error as it tries to install. I ran it several times with the same result. AV on or off, makes no difference. I'm running on Win7 x64. I ...
