It appears this has been answered before within the forum and the intercept is fine but because the Tercio charge is now cancelled the Tercio does not count as charging which I have to say makes sense to me.
Thanks for responding

Tercios Charging?
This is the scenario; TERCIO facing forwards announces a charge on an infantrybunitbtomtheir front. Horse behind the TERCIO announces intercept charge which cancels TERCIO charge. Horse hit TERCIO. What are the POA? I.e. does the TERCIO still count as charging even though the charge has been cancell...

As long as you realise that this is a change to the rules as published (see page 120). I think it is not a good idea because it will lead to people manouvering to hit RG equiped BGs on a single base instead of front on - and I had hoped we had got away from that sort of micro manouvering. Good point...

Gladly accepted mainly because I also look down apon rulesmen which is one of the main reasons I happily moved wholeheartedly to FOG and away from other well known brands. You are to be complimented on producing a common sense set of rules with minimal scope for interpretation (even for some people ...

I should also say that using RG in this way did seem to at last justify their points cost which is quite considerable. Given your response perhaps we should consider something along the lines of RG dice can only be added if at least 50% of the unit is firing or involved in the impact? This to me wou...

Hey less of the git cookie boy! When the rules are not entirely clear it's normal to take them at face value which is what we did. Add the rg dice to any files firing forward and add the rg dice to any impact combat. Doesn't say only if the centre file is shooting or contacted which is now what you ...

Mounted with jet packs!
Like most we've been experimenting with the various options and one of the most exciting (for all you aggressive players out there!) was the Hungarians. An all cavalry force with 4 TC's zooms around the board like you would not believe...............avoid the infantry and focus on the enemy horse wi...

10mm ECW
I was fortunate enough to order lots of AIM 10m before they stopped producing. I think the moulds were bought by Minfigs and advertised as 12mm? If these are the same figures I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are superb and although limited to ECW the range is excellent - Scots, Royalist a...

I support the Really Useful Boxes option. Staples are a good source and there is an incredible range which covers all scales and all army sizes. Check out the RUB website for box dimensions. I use self adhesive steel sheet for lining and then self adhesive magnetic tape for the figure bases- Result!...

Chariots
I feel chariots (whether light or heavy) are unfavourably penalised by facing troops with swords. As only heavies get a single + then chariots are usually at evens or in the case of lights at a -.
Why not remove this i.e. swords don't count against all chariots or give the chariots a sword!

Joining an existing melee
What is the definition of an existing melee, e.g. Impact Phase is followed by a manouvre phase, can the moving player join an 'impact melee' with fresh units on an overlap or is it not classified as an existing melee until after the melee phase? Our club has split views but this happens often so it ...
