Re: Abandon command when occupying
Oh, so it is the same as Liberate Region, except that the decision increases the odds of installing a client barbarian tribe? I love to use Liberate Region to create rump countries and dismantle bigger Kingdoms (like the Diadochi kingdoms). For this I usually hoard as many Liberate Regions as possib...

Abandon command when occupying
What does the "Abandon" command actually do when I occupy an enemy province? It just states that it will leave the region to its own devices, but not much else.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Unit trade.
I believe it is 75 gold per unit.stormbringer3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:14 pm When you trade away a unit it costs 75 gold. Is that per each unit requested so that trading 4 of a unit type would be 4x75 or is it 75 no matter what the quanity?
Thanks.

Re: Resource question
Hi, currently in to my first eight hours of empires and this left me with a couple of questions. first, the manual states that any good is unlimited tradeable, so to my understanding, one clay pit is enough to provide for all of the brickmakers in the entire empire? Not the whole empire, but it wil...

Re: Dealing with Persia
Well, on turn 217 the game ended with an automatic victory for Persia - even though it had nowhere near a 3-to-1 lead on Egypt. I was in the middle of invading Egypt to grab my Objectives and humiliate it into giving me her Legacy. Anyone understands why I lost and Persia won here? Quick victory was...

Re: Negotiating peace for all the alliance?
It would be really nice to have the alliance peace, and a way to divide the spoils reasonably and not like certain other games where the alliance leader gets all the spoils. Not only that but in FOG:E all peace treaties are separate peaces, which means that against a bigger, stronger power you are ...

Usurpers in AI-controlled states
I am not certain I understand the rule in the manual for Usurpers in AI-controlled factions : 7.5.2. Usurpers If a Usurper faction appears in a civil war it will rejoin the original faction after 15 turns if the original state was AI controlled. Am I to understand that whatever happens, even if it i...

Re: Negotiating peace for all the alliance?
I wish eventually there would be a League-type of Alliance, with Factions allying in a coalition against a bigger power (or another League) and the leader negociating peace for everyone. Like the League of Delos or the Peloponnesian League.

Re: Diplomacy: Declare war to?
I agree. Very cumbersome not to know the chances of a faction accepting to go to war against a third party, or even to negociate compensations like other Transactions.

Dealing with Persia
I'm currently playing Macedonia, Balanced Difficulty level. It seems that Persia AI is out of control, and I'm having trouble deadling with them. First, they turned the Athenians into a client-state early in the game (we cannot ask in peace deal to release a client-state?) and use them as springboar...
